For this cover I only had half a day to come up with an idea and the rest of the day to finish it. This is also a cover for a special supplement for the San Francisco Business Times and it listed the top 150 companies in various fields of expertise, located in the San Francisco Bay Area. The short turnaround time left me with little choices for art so I picked images from stock CD-roms that would portrait some of the listed businesses such as a telephone for telecom and a mouse for the computer industry. I toned the background down so I would not compete with the overlaying type too much but still let's the interested reader recognize the imagery. Click on the image for an other cover design.
