my sick page... enjoy.

. well jsut over 3 weeks ago in the brazilian jungle i got a little cut... which got infected. i would open it up with a needle a drain the puss but after the first week i though it was al better. WRONG. it was dormant for a whole week with just a hard lump under the skin and then at the end of the second week it acted up agian really bad... i went to the doctor in manaus (big step for me) and he put me on some antibiotics.. yuck. went to another doctor a few days later in sta. elena cause it was hurting like heck and all he did was put me on more pills... now i'm here in san sebastian, not far from caracas, and i finally got a doctor to open it up and drain all the preasure that was building up inside my arm. seri came along with me to the hospital to get some good pics and a video to send to mom... it turned out to be quite impressive so i thought i'd stick it up here on the web for all to see:

. doc pushed the cloth into the wound so i won't close... he's gonna open it up again tomorrow.. oowww
