For this special supplement I took out the graphics card of a spare G4 Macintosh computer and scanned it in. That provided a nice and relevant background for the title of the supplement. I "photoshopped" some soldering-looking stuff around the techy looking letters to make them tie in with the soldered parts on the cicuit board. It is always hard to put all the sponsors' logos on the finished cover so I tried to integrate them into the design by leaving some room for them without just blocking out some of the image with a white rectangle.
